Participation Policy

Success in Integrated Coach Training from FLUXIFY requires a full commitment by all participants. By enrolling in any FLUXIFY training course, participants agree to be fully present during all sessions and participate to the best of their ability. This includes arriving on time, abiding by the code of conduct, and engaging in course activities.

No certificates will be issued for credit in courses where all portions of the training process are not completed.

Attendance

In order to provide you with the minimum required training hours for certification, it is important that you are present at all course live meetings and complete all on-demand requirements and follow-up work.

If you have an emergency or become ill and are not able to attend a coaching session, please contact your instructor and Amy Glazer immediately. You will be expected to complete the session materials, review the session recording, and complete a learning verification assignment outside the live session to make up for the missed session.

If you need to miss more than 16 hours of any pathway, you will have the option to work with the instructor to cover the missed material at your own expense or register for another course.

If you miss more than 1 hour of group mentor coaching, you will need to arrange and pay for individual mentor coaching sessions to complete the required 10 hours of mentor coaching to satisfy the International Coaching Federation requirements.  You can not miss one-on-one mentor coaching commitments.  A minimum of three hours of one-on-one mentor coaching is required.

Failure to meet these conditions may result in having to re-take a course or portion of a pathway or lose the opportunity to complete this pathway.  Delays in processing your certificate after completing all coursework may also be a consequence.

Petitions to this policy are considered on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted in writing to the instructor and Amy Glazer of FLUXIFY at amy@fluxify.net.

Course Engagement

Our courses are designed to be interactive and engaging for our participants.   Course content is designed to build successively on previous lessons.  Each level of training is designated by a three-digit course number, and each level should be completed before moving on to the next level in the three-digit designations.  For example, all the 300-level courses should be completed before moving on to the 400-level courses.

It is therefore an expectation that you participate in course activities, including reviewing the on-demand video components, completing the learning verification, participating in dialogue with the course instructor and peers, triad coaching activities, and experiential learning exercises.

If you are unable to participate in an activity, please inform your instructor as soon as possible. Please refer to the code of conduct for additional details.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner during all sessions. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Arriving on time for all live sessions.  On-time is defined as 5 minutes before the beginning of the live session.
  • Use appropriate language at all times.
  • Being respectful and considerate of similarities and differences between participants, employees, and contractors.
  • Completing all on-demand video (asynchronous) requirements for all courses prior to the live sessions.
  • Attending and participating in all live sessions and mentor coaching sessions.
  • Have your camera on for virtual live sessions.
  • Completing all follow-up assignments for each section of the training.
  • Being prepared for the session, involving yourself in discussions and activities, assuming responsibility for your learning, and contributing to the learning of others.
  • Engaging in discussions with integrity and honesty.
  • Being respectful of your fellow participants and instructors, including silencing your cell phone, not texting, and other disruptive behaviors.
  • Embracing diversity and inclusion while respecting the dignity and humanity of others.

If you have questions about this code of conduct, you can make an appointment with Amy Glazer or Jonathan Reitz to discuss your concerns.  Please take the initiative to address these concerns at your earliest convenience.

This form will be made available to all students as a part of their enrollment.  Signed copies of this agreement are required to beginning courses at FLUXIFY.
